What the site is
An independent archive of the JHU Private Equity & Venture Capital Club, founded in 2015, and a resource on careers, concepts and public events in private markets. It is not an official publication of Johns Hopkins University, and it does not claim to represent the university, its schools or its offices.
The archive is kept as published
The Club’s sixteen posts and twelve pages are preserved in their original wording, at their original addresses where possible. The text is not rewritten, shortened or updated. Each archived page says when it was published. Changes to archived material are limited to those listed on the corrections page and stated on the page they affect.
Photographs
Photographs in archived posts are enhanced copies of the originals, in original colour, shown at the sharpness the source allows. Each links to the unaltered original. Graphics such as charts are shown as published. Descriptions for screen readers were written for this site.
Guide, glossary and cases
These pages are written for students and alumni in neutral, third-person language. Dated facts, such as hiring calendars and event listings, name their sources and carry a review date. Third-party facts are reported as the source states them and may change. Glossary definitions are general explanations, not advice.
Public events
Public events are listed with links to the organiser, who is the authority on dates, venues and registration. The list shows when it was last checked. A listing is not an endorsement, and nothing is hosted here.
Names
New pages name people only where they appear in the dated archive as speakers or panelists. Archived officer and advisor pages are preserved as text, without portraits, and are open to correction or removal requests.
Review
Dated modules are reviewed at least once a year. The current review is October 2026; the next is January 2027. Errors can be reported through the contact form.
