Changes made at the 2026 redesign

  1. Events page, December 8 holiday party. The promotional discount code was removed from the preserved 2016 Events page; the code was long expired.
  2. Events page, email-campaign links. A subscriber identifier was removed from the nine email-campaign links on the same page. The links are kept as historical text and are probably no longer active.
  3. No email addresses. No archived page shows an email address.
  4. Portraits and logos. Low-resolution portraits on the archived leadership and advisor pages are not shown, nor are logos and portraits on the two restored announcements. Names, roles and text are as published.
  5. Photographs. Photographs in the sixteen posts are enhanced copies; each links to its original, which is unchanged.
  6. Dead and unsafe links. Links to a former company website that now redirects to an unrelated site, to two pages that no longer exist, and to a Johns Hopkins development server were removed; the text that carried each link stays. Links to the Club’s own site now use https, and the other http links that work over https were upgraded.
  7. Tracking removed. Image requests that went through a third-party image service now load from this site, and campaign parameters were taken out of outbound links.
  8. Page structure. Layout, spacing and styling were replaced. Hidden editor markers and empty spacer paragraphs were removed. The text of every post and page is otherwise unchanged.
  9. Two restored announcements. Two event announcements that were missing from the old site were restored from the Internet Archive’s capture of April 16, 2016.
  10. Republished article. The JHU Hub article and the report PDF are kept as received, with their source stated.
